How to Design a Patient-Specific Cranial Plate

12 min

In 3-matic, it’s easy to design a cranial plate directly on the patient’s anatomy. The fast and flexible, semi-automated design tools allow you to design patient-specific cranioplasty prostheses with an even or variable thickness, and this with a repeatable process. Let me show you how such a plate can be created in only a few steps.

Prerequisites

For the purpose of this video 3-matic 13 was used.
