Software Product Owner
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Software Product Owner to join our Mimics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and delivering high-quality software products that meet the needs of our users. What you will do
- Gather user needs and perform gap analyses to identify missing capabilities.
- Analyze and decompose complex requirements, breaking them into clear user stories.
- Create functional and non-functional requirement specifications for development.
- Lead grooming sessions with the development team and support them during implementation.
- Validate implemented features, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with requirements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
- Coordinate with other development teams on integration needs.
- Conduct competition analysis to support product strategy.
- Reports to the Software Product Manager and contributes to product decision-making.
Your profile
- 2+ years as a Product Owner or Functional Analyst, with expertise in software epics and feature analysis.
- Strong analytical and system thinking, breaking down complex software problems into actionable insights.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, (Biomedical) Engineering, or related field.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, and results-driven mindset.
- Experience in Agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), handling backlog refinement and prioritization.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Dutch is a plus
