Maintenance Technician
As an SL Maintenance Technician, you will join the stereolithography production team to maintain and improve our photopolymer production units and infrastructure.
What you will do
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance tasks
- Join in major yearly maintenance efforts, during which our machines are completely disassembled and reassembled for thorough inspections and repairs
- Work closely with other members of the maintenance and data preparation team
- Join in on fault analysis and intervention repairs once familiarized with the technology
- Adapt and implement continuous improvement changes and projects
- Wield conventional mechanical and electrical tools, and deal with industrial machinery, including sensitive optical instruments and components
- Learn about the internal machine electronics and how to calibrate or repair them
- Familiarize yourself with the machine control software, multiple Excel tools, and other commercially or internally developed software packages
- Assist in the preventative maintenance of our machine park and infrastructure
- Analyze and execute interventions for urgent machine problems
- Become familiar with our hardware devices and software applications
- Assist in the continual improvement of the maintenance efforts and production park
- Occasionally execute improvement projects
- Respect the safety guidelines and house rules
Your profile
- Education in engineering/technician disciplines or equal through experience
- Education or a background in electro-mechanics is a bonus
- Specialization in maintenance is a bonus
- Open-minded, procedural mindset, disciplined, team player, solid communication skills, autonomous, customer-focused, logical and critical thinking, and solid decision-making skills
- Be flexible, occasionally finishing emergency interventions or urgent work to guarantee production continuity
- Familiarity with basic IT configuration tasks and quickly adopting new software tools
- Familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams or basic PLC knowledge is a plus
- English proficiency is a plus
- Internally, you will have to get ‘BA5’ certified
