As Materialise and the additive manufacturing (3D printing) industry continue to grow, we're seeking a sales professional with channel sales experience to further develop our regional partner community and channel sales revenue. As a Regional Channel Manager in Additive Manufacturing Software, you will play a vital role in driving sales and establishing strong relationships with distribution partners (resellers and distributors) in the additive manufacturing industry.

Job description

The Regional Channel Manager is responsible for managing and developing a network of channel partners (distributors/resellers) within a specific geographic region. The primary goal is to drive sales and revenue by effectively managing relationships with channel partners and ensuring the successful execution of the Materialise indirect sales strategies.

What you will do

  • Run and execute the Materialise Authorized Reseller Partner Program within the different Tiered countries

Channel partner management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, providing them with the necessary support, training, and resources to effectively sell Materialise Software products or services
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, distributors, and internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product management
  • Collaborate with these stakeholders to align strategies, resolve issues, and drive mutual success

Sales planning and execution

  • Collaborate with channel partners to develop sales plans and strategies aligned with Materialise's overall objectives
  • Set sales targets and monitor partner performance against those targets
  • Provide guidance and support to partners to achieve sales goals, including launching sales and marketing activities in order to generate demand and assisting with partner-initiated sales opportunities
  • Follow up on partner sales opportunities while maintaining proper forecasting discipline

Business development

  • Continuously seek opportunities to expand the channel network and drive revenue growth to enhance Materialise’s market presence
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners in the assigned region where needed

Training and enablement

  • Conduct product and sales training sessions for channel partners to ensure they have a deep understanding of Materialise's offerings and are equipped to effectively market and sell them
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to enhance partner capabilities and enable successful selling

Performance analysis and reporting

  • Being accountable for a regional sales target, you will monitor and analyze your partners’ sales performance data and market trends
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key findings, recommendations, and progress toward goals to management and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate the involvement of company resources, including pre/post sales support, marketing, and management, in order to meet partner performance objectives and expectations

Your profile

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in running and managing indirect channels in software sales
  • Good business acumen in channel sales with a proven track record of sales success
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills (the ability to speak comfortably in front of large audiences) in English; any other language is an asset
  • Persuasive communicator with the ability to influence and drive results through others without direct authority
  • Effective problem-solver with the ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Takes the initiative and ownership, and drives for results
  • Experience in working in a global organization
  • Highly organized and analytical
  • Ability to report and operate in a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing/3D printing is a plus
