Magics Update

This training is available in two formats: online and in-person. The online training is on the Materialise learning platform with live sessions on Microsoft Teams.  

The in-person training is a half-day held in one of the Materialise offices worldwide.

Once you acquire the training in the Materialise learning platform, you will be able to see all the available dates for online and in-person sessions in the language of your preference.

Joining the Materialise learning platform is as simple as registering. Once registered, you will receive your login and password via email. Sign in to the platform and go to the training catalog to enroll in one of the Magics Update training language versions.

All the live sessions, online and in-person, are listed in the training catalog alongside the immediately available video classes. Just click on the session you would like to attend and subscribe. All the sessions you subscribe to will show on your calendar, and you'll get a reminder before the session.  

The Magics Update training is available in English, German, French, Korean, and Japanese. All live sessions, online or in-person, will be held in the language you selected when registering. The video classes are currently only available in English; German, French, Korean, and Japanese versions will be made available sometime after the Magics 28 release. In the meantime, you can sign up for your preferred language and register for live sessions on the learning platform.

No, anyone can follow this training but please note that we don't provide Magics educational licenses for this training. You will need to have Magics 28 installed if you want to practice the new functionalities, but everyone is welcome to learn what is new.

The time required depends on your learning pace, but you will spend around one hour watching the video lessons as well as time for the live sessions you would like to attend. We also recommend watching the video classes before the in-person sessions. 

This training covers the updates to the newest Magics version, so it doesn't include a certification. Please check our Magics Fundamentals course if you are looking for training with certification. 

Enrolling for in-person training is the same as for online sessions. First, register to get access to the learning platform or log in if you already have access. Next, go to the course catalog and click the Magics Update training in the language you'd like to follow. There, you'll see all the live sessions available online or in person. The in-person sessions will show additional information about the location and date. Finally, click on the session you would like to attend and subscribe to book your seat.
